About Noah

Noah Pierre Pleunik is a fantastical, fun-loving, and energetic being. He was adopted from Haiti at three months old and was raised in Washington, Pennsylvania by his two loving parents. Growing up, Noah's mother always said he sang before he spoke, and this undeniably propelled his ambition towards a profession in the arts. Noah grew up in the church and always had a calling to connect with those around him through music with honesty and genuine emotion. He is passionate about telling stories that leave an impact; stories that make people feel uncomfortable, hopeful, hopeless, joyful, and enlightened. He's also drawn to stories that include, explore, and highlight POC voices in an empowering, authentic, and transparent way. Noah values the power of a reimagined tale. During his work on TUCK EVERLASTING (Director: Michael Park, Choreographer: Shannon Lewis), Noah was cast in an untraditional way. This exhilarating opportunity gave Noah a passion for bringing attention to the importance of exploring nontraditional casting when race, gender, or physicality aren't specified in the script.  His favorite credits at Shenandoah Conservatory include Tom Collins (RENT), Man in The Yellow Suit (TUCK EVERLASTING), Hud (HAIR), Billy Bigelow (CAROUSEL), and Harold (BOYS IN THE BAND). During his free time, Noah enjoys hanging out with friends, cooking up a delectable meal (of course, he shares), and acting like he's a wizard (Gandalf). He is known for his infectiously goofy personality, carefree attitude, and green thumb. Noah would not hesitate to call himself a lemonade and cheese connoisseur; a goal of his is to be a guest judge in a food competition.
